How do I know which binding is right?

Can binding affect design?

Do you produce bound work in-house?
Yes. Binding is managed and produced in-house, allowing us to maintain quality and consistency throughout production.
Which bindings open flat?
Lay-flat and OTA, Swiss binding and thread-sewn sections (case or flexi).
PUR or EVA, what’s the difference?
PUR has superior pull strength and flexibility, especially on coated stocks and higher paginations. We run PUR in-house.
How do I calculate spine width?
Tell us page count, stock gsm and bulk, we’ll size it precisely and confirm a cover template.
