Craftsmanship meets technology

Print Services

At Pressision, printing is the foundation of everything we produce. It’s where accuracy, consistency, and material understanding come together to ensure creative ideas translate reliably into physical form.

All printing is managed and produced in-house, giving us full control over colour, quality, and turnaround. By offering multiple print processes under one roof, we’re able to select the right technology for each project, based on run length, format, stock, finish, and budget, rather than forcing a single approach.

Whether you’re producing luxury brochures, books, packaging components, or bespoke print, our printing services are designed to support creative ambition while delivering dependable, repeatable results.

Choosing the right print process

Selecting the correct print process has a direct impact on cost, finish, colour accuracy, and performance. Our role is to guide that decision clearly and practically.
We regularly combine printing methods within a single project, for example, digital printing for prototypes or personalised sections alongside lithographic printing for main production ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.

We’ll advise on:

  • The most suitable process for your run length and format.
  • Colour management, spot colours, and specialist inks.
  • Stock compatibility and surface behaviour.
  • How printing integrates with embellishment, binding, and finishing.

Print Services FAQ's

Essential tips and guidance to ensure your next project runs seamlessly.

How does printing affect embellishment and finishing?
Print choice directly affects how embellishments and finishes behave. Ink coverage, stock selection, and drying times all influence processes such as foil blocking, embossing, and lamination. We plan these stages together to avoid surprises later in production.
What file formats should I supply?
We recommend supplying print-ready PDFs exported from professional design software such as Adobe InDesign or Illustrator. Files should include bleed and crop marks, with images at 300dpi and colours set up correctly for CMYK or spot colours. Our pre-press team is always happy to advise.
How do I choose between litho and digital?
As a rule of thumb, digital is perfect for short runs, rapid turnaround and variable data, think personalised mailers or limited‑edition booklets. Litho excels on larger quantities and when exact colour matching (e.g. spot colours) is critical. We can also combine both processes in one project when that makes sense.
How do I choose between lithographic and digital printing?
As a general rule, digital printing is ideal for short runs, fast turnarounds, and personalised or versioned artwork. Lithographic printing becomes more cost-effective at higher volumes and offers excellent consistency for colour-critical work. In many cases, we’ll recommend using both within the same project.
What print processes do you offer in-house?
We operate ultra high definition stochastic screening, lithographic printing, and HP Indigo digital printing in-house, alongside metallic, fluorescent, and white ink capabilities. This allows us to maintain full control over quality and scheduling from proof to final production.
Is your printing environmentally responsible?
We use vegetable-based inks, offer FSC-certified and recycled papers, and operate highly efficient production workflows to minimise waste. Sustainability is considered at every stage of our printing process.
