At Pressision, embellishments are planned as part of the overall production process, not added as an afterthought. By managing printing and embellishment in-house, we ensure finishes are technically compatible, consistently applied, and aligned with the intended use of the final piece.

What order do you apply effects in?
We sequence foil/UV/laminate/emboss for the cleanest edges and strongest adhesion, depending on stock and design.
Can you combine multiple effects?
Absolutely. Many projects combine techniques such as foil blocking with embossing, or spot UV with lamination. We’ll advise on compatibility and sequencing.
Are embellishments suitable for packaging?
Yes. Many of our embellishment techniques are widely used across luxury packaging, including cartons, rigid boxes, and presentation materials.
Do I need to decide on embellishments at the start?
Yes, early planning is important. Embellishments often influence paper choice, ink coverage, and print sequencing. We recommend discussing finishes during the specification stage.
Can foil-finished boards be recycled?
Yes, foil is a very thin deposit. With the right specification, fibre-based boards remain recyclable.
Will embellishments affect turnaround time?
Some finishes add additional production stages. We’ll advise on lead times early and plan schedules accordingly.
